Born into a Kyoto-based family of traditional artisans Erihide Inc., we have been immersed in kimono culture since childhood.
Over 50 years ago, founder of Erihide Inc. Minoru and Kumiko Shino revolutionized kimono dressing with the “Rose Collar”, a detachable zippered collar undergarment. Today, we continue this innovation with “Kirakku”, making kimono easier, more enjoyable, and effortlessly elegant.

Venturing abroad has made us keenly aware of the global appreciation for Japanese culture—particularly kimono and Kyoto’s timeless allure. To share this beauty with the world, we provide cultural experiences, kimono dressing workshops, and opportunities for deeper engagement with Japan’s rich traditions.

Kimono has been part of Japanese life for over 1,200 years, a symbol of craftsmanship and refined beauty. Even as lifestyles change, the spirit of “Wa no Kokoro”—harmony and tradition—lives on.
